The Palmer Lake Art Group (PLAG), located in Palmer Lake, Colorado, began in 1965 and was incorporated in 1968 as a non-profit organization of artists and crafters, and includes anyone who appreciates art and is interested in furthering the arts in our local community and region.
In 1977, PLAG established an art scholarship for graduating senior artists of local Lewis Palmer School District planning to follow further study and careers in the visual arts. The art scholarship fund is supported by art show sales and Scholarship Sponsors from the local community. To date, more than $84,000 has been granted in art scholarships to young artists in our community from the Palmer Lake Art Group. For more art scholarship information: palmerlakeartgroup.com
The Palmer Lake Art Group [PLAG] meets 2nd Sat monthly for art business, networking with other fine artists, art education, three annual shows, and more. All are welcome regardless of age and experience.
